Djembe Communications awarded Certificate of Excellence for PR Agency Citizenship – Africa
On Tuesday, 23rd of May, influential PR ranker and magazine, The Holmes Report, hosted its annual In2 Innovation Summit and SABRE Awards ceremony in London. As a nominee and winner of the SABRE awards, Djembe’s Drummers, Paschorina Mortty and Tom McEnchroe, represented Djembe at the ceremony.
In2 Summit – London 2017
First up was the In2 Summit – focused on innovation and insights, while showcasing current and future trends in PR. Given the global reputation of The Holmes Report, the event regularly attracts speakers at the forefront of communications.
This year was no different, with thought leaders such as Osama Saeed Bhutta, the head of Communications for Amnesty International, and Alan Van der Molen, president of WE International & WE+. Our drummers were eager to hear the latest insights on topics such as the changing shape of the role of a PR professional, how brands are now in constant motion and how CMO’s can crack the content to commerce challenge.

Having been nominated in the category ‘Africa PR Consultancies of the Year’ for our overall work on the continent, Djembe Communications is honoured to receive a certificate of excellence in PR Agency Citizenship in Africa.
