Djembe Communications Inaugurates Office in Morocco

Rabat | Morocco, 29th November 2016: Djembe Communications, a pioneering Pan-African communications consultancy, officially opened an office in Rabat, Morocco on Tuesday, 29 November. This is the company’s fifth wholly owned office in Africa and will focus on expanding and improving communications and digital services across the African landscape.
Djembe’s new office in Rabat will serve as its center for the North African region, which will act as a catalyst in supporting Djembe’s international team, serving key customers around the region and beyond regarding opportunities offered by the African market. The Rabat office endeavors to deliver successful and impactful programs for clients with particular commitment to both Francophone West Africa and North Africa.
The open house event was further celebrated with the presentation of a roundtable discussion entitled, “Nation Branding for Morocco”, which saw Djembe’s Chairman of the Board, Frank Bodin discussing key issues related to the importance of building Morocco’s brand to continue positioning the Kingdom as an investment hub and tourist destination.
During the opening of the office, located at 84 Angle Jabal Oukaimeden, Avenue Fal Ouled Oumeir, Agdal, Rabat, Mr. Bodin, commented “The continued growth of our network into Northern Africa reflects not only our aim to become the communications partner of choice across the African continent, but also underscores the opportunity for us to offer world class digital services to our clients.” The list of attendees at the event ranged from journalists, members of the private sector, communications professionals, NGO representatives, and officials from Moroccan government institutions.
During the inauguration, Djembe’s Morocco Country Director, Walid El Alaoui Mrani, noted “We are extremely proud to open our doors to a wide variety of stakeholders this evening.
