Specialties: Strategic and cross-cultural communications; PPP matchmaker; Ideator.

Experience: Worked with major print and broadcast news organizations that include Newsweek, CBS, FRONTLINE, The New York Times, and ABC on foreign affairs. An interlude in the legal world was followed by a return to communications as a Franklin Fellow with the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs’ Office of Economic Policy and Summit Coordination from 2012-2013. A member of the official U.S. delegation to the 2015 Summit of the Americas in Panama as Outreach Coordinator which marked a historic, first-time meeting between U.S. and Cuban leaders in more than 50 years.

I’m passionate about PR because: Whatever sector you work in today, communications is an integral part. The prospect of creating impact in terms of social good / social change is what motivates me.

Dream Job: Special Advisor to DC Comics’ Justice League.

Best Way to Unwind from PR: A frothy barista-brewed coffee. Leisurely walks. Music.

Memorable PR Homerun: Each project has been gratifying in its own way. Success, from my lens, is measured by when you’ve made a difference somehow in making people pause, think/feel or take action.

Favorite City for Business Travel: Paris and NY.

Twitter or Facebook: Twitter. But I’m more of a face-to-face person. Direct engagements with people seem to be fast disappearing.

Social Media of Choice: Instagram. A photo is worth a thousand words!
